Summersnow ( Zomersneeuw) is the phenomenon whereby millions of mayflies swarm on a summer evening , to mate, lay their eggs and die.The title of this exhibition, the eleventh edition of Beelden op de Berg, was inspired by the theme eternal rejuvenation. Curator Flos Wildschut invited 10 artists to create new work related to the theme. Flower Labyrinth # 2 was created in response to the exhibition theme and will remain as a permanent, perennial  feature of the Belmont Arboretum.

Within walking distance of the Belmont Arboretum lies Galerie Wit, where the artists selected for Beelden op de Berg presented smaller fragile works.
